Offering services to both novice and seasoned outdoor-enthusiasts, Beyond the Backcountry hosts educational courses in a fun and safe environment. Take a course on land navigation, avalanche training, CPR/First Aid, or join in on an overnight women's retreat. New courses are always being added and all will ensure you are fully prepared for your next Pintler adventure.
Plan a guided fly fishing day in the area with Grizzly Paw Outfitters. They specialize in full-day guided fly fishing, however, they also offer 2/3 day trips and can customize trips for anyone. Beyond fly fishing, they also offer scenic float trips, guided hiking to alpine lakes, and nordic skiing in the winter.
The best views of the Pintler Wilderness are experienced from within the trees! Ten minutes from the hostel is Montana’s longest zipline course that offers 7 zips ranging in length from 650 feet to 2,100 feet. This is a stunning and exhilarating zip-line course, that is reservation only, so be sure to contact them today!
No more painful commutes and long lines to the ski hill. Disco is less than 30 minutes from the hostel door and offers something for everyone with its three faces: gently sloping runs, advanced groomed cruisers, steeper groomed runs, mogul skiing, and backcountry-esque powder.

Each summer, Anaconda hosts thru-hikers who are traversing the 3,100 mile hike between Mexico and Canada. Anaconda is a Gateway Community to the CDT and we welcome those hikers into our town and hostel. Those scenic hikes are available to everyone, year round in our stunning Pintler Playground.
